Nissan Juke R Front Overlook

The first Nissan Juke R, a limited edition car of the crossover Nissan Juke has been built and is all ready for its owner to vroom in it. It has been built over a modified GT-R platform and boasts of much more power than the original Juke. Not quiet noticeable to the unfamiliar eyes are the few design changes that is the result of the work done by the experts at Nissan Design Europe (NDE), London. The front facia and the side sills have got slight design changes. The body kits are made from carbon fibre. The front bumpers are very airy and provide ample cooling through their perforations. The front air dam has now been coupled to the fog lamp slots and now looks like a uni-design. At the rear are two exhaust outlets and a split rear spoiler which adds to the sporty sense of it.

While the concept Juke R was powered at 485 BHP, the built version features a twin-turbo 3.8-litre V6 engine taken straight from the Nissan GT-R (VR engine). This mighty powerplant produces an output of 545 BHP clocking 0-100 km/hr in about 3 seconds. The Nissan Juke R has a top speed of 275 km/hr. The engine is mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. On the inside, the steering wheel and the central console have been sourced from the GT-R. The wheels are sporty 20-inch alloys which are accommodated by slightly more flared wheel arches.

Nissan claims that the Juke R will be custom-made exactly as per the customers specifications and the final price tag would depend on the same. However, a starting price of €5,00,000 (Rs. 3.48 crores)has been punched on the tag. Definitely priced high but the Nissan Juke R would be owned and enjoyed by a select few who are thrilled by the overall looks of the Juke and high-end sports car like performance given by the limited edition version.
