Mahindra strengthens Delhi-NCR aftersales network with training and eVans
Mahindra has announced a broad expansion of its aftersales service operations across the Delhi-NCR region, aimed at enhancing customer support and strengthening service infrastructure. The development includes investments in training, mobile service solutions and additional service facilities, as the automaker prepares to support its expanding portfolio of SUVs and electric SUVs.
A key part of the initiative is the establishment of a 26,000 sq. ft. Mahindra Institute of Learning Excellence in the region. The facility will serve as a dedicated training centre for sales and service personnel, covering mechanical operations, bodyshop processes and evolving EV technologies. With an experiential learning demonstration hall, the institute is intended to equip technicians and frontline teams with the skills required to handle increasingly technology-intensive vehicles.
Mahindra is also introducing electric mobile service units under its Electric Vehicle Assistance Network (eVan). These dedicated electric vans will provide doorstep maintenance and minor repair services for electric SUV owners. Equipped with features such as a battery pack with charger, hydraulic scissor lift, wheel balancer and car care equipment, the eVans are designed to improve convenience for customers. The company has indicated that similar services may be rolled out in other cities over time.
In addition, Mahindra has inaugurated five new service touchpoints across Delhi-NCR, expanding its operational capacity by the equivalent of 70 working bays. The new facilities are expected to reduce turnaround times and improve service accessibility, including support for the brand’s SUV lineup as well as a dedicated commercial vehicle service point in Northwest Delhi. The move reflects a continued focus on strengthening the ownership experience in a key automotive market.
