The new TUV300 facelift is likely to get better safety features

The Indian SUV manufacturer, Mahindra will be coming with a new facelift version of the TUV300 in 2019. Mahindra has already started working on various versions of its compact SUV models KUV100 and TUV300 targeting all sets of buyers. A few months back, the company had launched the TUV300 in a new longer version with 9-seaters configuration, TUV300 Plus.

This facelift will get some minor updates on the design part but the main update will be on the safety front. It will be made to hit India’s new crash test norms and we will get to see it comply with BS-VI emission norms in the near future. Apart from this, the TUV300 will be loaded with a lot of new features that are not available in the current vehicle.

The TUV300 is not as popular as Mahindra’s other models but the company sells around 3000 units per month. The Indian automaker is expecting better sales with the upcoming facelifted version of the TUV300. Mahindra is also readying a new diesel AMT version of the KUV100 and a fully electric version of KUV100.

Mahindra has recently launched the Marazzo. They are also planning to launch the flagship SUV XUV700 (codenamed Y400) and a compact SUV S201 by the end of this year. The carmaker is also working on a completely new strategy for updating engines on the entire range it offers, in terms of fuel options.
