The Mahindra XUV500 petrol variant has been launched in India, priced at Rs. 15.49 lakhs.

The Mahindra XUV500 petrol has been launched in India with a sticker price of Rs. 15.49 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The XUV500 petrol is available in only one variant, named as the G AT. The sole variant will be available in select cities only. Six years since its initial launch, the XUV500 gets a petrol-powered engine.

Under the hood of the Mahindra XUV500 G AT variant, sits a 2.2-litre mHawk petrol engine which produces 140 HP of power and 320 Nm of torque. The powerplant is mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox with creep function and also gets a manual mode. The automatic gearbox is sourced from AISIN, Japan.

The G AT trim is equipped with static bending headlamps, automatic headlamps, automatic wipers, tyre-tronics, cruise control, puddle lamps, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Emergency Call, automatic climate control, push-button start and 8-way adjustable driver’s seat. Safety features include dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP with rollover mitigation.
