Maruti Baleno Cross

Maruti Baleno Cross might look like this in production form

Maruti Suzuki will be showcasing two new SUVs at the 2023 Auto Expo including the Baleno Cross. It is internally codenamed as YTB and has been spotted testing multiple times across the country.

It will be based on the same platform but have a different styling to make it look like an SUV coupe. It will get a higher ground clearance, black cladding across the car and skid plates for a butch look. It will also come with a new front profile inspired by the Grand Vitara.

The side profile will look more or less the same but is expected to get a different set of alloy wheels. The rear will also come with new tail light design and the tailgate will have a different design too.

The interior will get a revised dashboard with different colour scheme. You can expect similar features like HUD, floating touchscreen infotainment with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with the 360 degree camera.

It is expected to continue with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. However, some rumours suggest the Baleno Cross will get a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine as well with 100 PS and 150 Nm of torque. More details to be revealed at the Auto Expo.
