Brochure of the Maruti Ignis has been leaked, revealing details about all variants.

The Maruti Ignis will come in Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims

The Maruti Ignis is going to be launched in India on 13th January 2017 and the vehicle’s brochure has been leaked ahead of its launch. The Ignis will be sold through the NEXA range of dealerships and it will be available in 4 variants – Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha.

The Maruti Ignis will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine or a 1.3-litre diesel engine. The diesel engine won’t be offered in the Sigma trim while the petrol engine will be offered in all 4 trims. The engine will come with a 5-speed manual gearbox while an AMT gearbox will also be offered with both the engines on the Delta and Zeta trims.

A lot of colours will be available but not every variant will get every colour. Pearl Arctic White and Silky Silver will be offered on all the trims. Glistening Grey won’t be offered on the Alpha trim while the Sigma trim will miss out on Urban Blue. The Zeta and Alpha variants will get Tinsel Blue and Uptown Red colours too. The Zeta and Alpha trims will also get the option of dual tone colour schemes.

On the equipment front, the Ignis will get dual front airbags and ABS with EBD on all variants. Push button start will be offered on the Zeta and Alpha trims. The Alpha trim will also get LED projector headlamps and DRLs. The Zeta and Alpha trims will also get alloy wheels while the Delta variant gets full wheel caps. The Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims will also get a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, USB and steering-mounted audio controls.
