Mercedes-Benz has launched the C-Class Cabriolet at a price of Rs. 65.25 lakhs.

Mercedes-Benz has launched the two-door convertible C-Class Cabriolet today. The company has introduced a completely new BS VI petrol engine. The C-Class Cabriolet is an elegant four-seat convertible with modern technology cabin and fairly economical engine.

The C-Class Cabriolet comes with multibeam LED headlights with pixel-specific beam range and coverage control. The convertible gets 64 colours ambient lighting along with new open-pore walnut wood trim. The car comes with a 10.25-inch infotainment system with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

The Cabriolet gets the AIRCAP system which reduces the airflow in the interior. The styling is enhanced by the sporty bumper and diamond grille with the Mercedes star sitting in the centre. The Cabriolet comes with 17-inch 5-spoke light alloy wheels. Mercedes has introduced two new metallic paint schemes for the Cabriolet – Mojave Silver and Selenite Grey and one special paint Designo Selenite Grey Magno.

Powering the C-Class Cabriolet is a 2.0-litre, inline 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 258 BHP and 370 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 9G-Tronic transmission. The Cabriolet accelerates from 0-100 km/hr in just 6.2 seconds with a top speed of 250 km/hr.

According to Mercedes-Benz, the cost of ownership of the new C-Class Cabriolet starts at Rs. 67,000 for a period of 2 years. Mercedes has priced the C-Class Cabriolet at Rs. 65.25 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
