Locally assembled Jeep Wrangler to be launched on 15th March

MG Motor – The carmaker is working on increasing their production capacity. The Halol plant in Gujarat is being ramped up to produce 1 lakh units annually by 2022. Company is expecting to sell the Creta rival MG Astor in huge numbers, scheduled to launch in Q3 2021. MG is also working on improving localisation.

Mercedes – The German luxury carmaker has officially teased the new generation Mercedes C-Class. It will get all-new exterior design, new S-Class inspired interior and updated eco-friendly engine options. The world premier of the new C-Class is scheduled for 23rd February.

Jeep – The American SUV maker is all set to introduced locally assembled Jeep Wrangler in India. They will introduce the new Wrangler imported to India via CKD on 15th March. It will be assembled at FCA’s Ranjangaon facility. We can expect the carmaker to reduce the pricing of the Wrangler substantially.

Fuel Price – Petrol and diesel prices have been revised for tenth consecutive day. Petrol price has increased by 34 paise in Delhi today, currently stands at Rs. 89.88 per litre. Diesel is priced at Rs. 80.27 per litre, hiked by 32 paise. In Mumbai, petrol rate is Rs. 96.32 per litre while diesel is Rs. 87.32 per litre.
