News highlights of the day include Kawasaki, Honda, F1 and Mumbai Police.
Kawasaki – The Japanese bike maker is finally introducing the much hyped and awaited in-line 4-cylinder 250cc motorcycle in Indonesia. The Kawasaki ZX-25R will be introduced on 10th July in Indonesia revealing all the specs and pricing.
Honda – The 2020 Honda Africa Twin deliveries have commenced in India. It comes in 2 variants – 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic transmission versions. The former is priced at Rs. 15.35 lakhs while the latter is priced at Rs. 16.10 lakhs (ex-showroom).
F1 – Mercedes will be using all-black livery for their 2020 F1 races. The team is running black livery to support diversity and stand against racism. The first race will be held on 5th July in Austria without spectators.
Mumbai Police – Maharashtra has extended its lockdown till 31st July. Mumbai has issued new guidelines for road travel. If you are moving away from your residence beyond 2 km radius without a valid reason except for essential activity your vehicle will be seized. Movement beyond 2 km radius will be permitted only for attending office or during medical emergencies.
Motor Trivia – Did you know, the longest car is a Cadillac limousine, it is 100 feet long and has 26 tyres.
