Maruti Eeco achieves 7 lakh sales milestone in 10 years

Hyundai – 4th generation Hyundai Tucson teased. It gets a totally different front fascia with futuristic design having jewel-like grille with integrated geometric DRLs. Gets dynamic LED tail lights. Interior looks sleek and futuristic. World premiere is set for 14th September.

Maruti – The popular workhorse Maruti Eeco has crossed a new milestone with more than 7 lakh units sold in 10 years. It comes in multiple variants and is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol/CNG engine producing 73 BHP and 101 Nm torque. It is among the top selling cars in the UV space.

Hyundai – Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) orders 100 units of Hyundai Kona EV. EESL is a joint venture of PSUs under the Ministry of Power, Government of India. They ordered 10 units of the Kona EV last year. These electric vehicles will be used by the senior officials of Central and State Governments and the first lot of vehicles will be delivered to Kerala Government in the initial phase.

Tata Motors – Along with Hyundai, Tata Motors too bagged a big order for the Tata Nexon EV from EESL. The Indian carmaker has procured an order of 150 units. These electric vehicles will replace the existing fleet of petrol and diesel vehicles of the Central and State Governments.
