MV Agusta will be offering bikes ranging from 800cc to 1078cc in our market. Prices for the bikes will start from Rs. 12 lakhs and go all the way to Rs. 33 lakhs. Kinetic Group will set up a dealership network for MV Agusta and will also establish service stations at key locations in the country. The company has imported 10 units of the Brutale 1090 from Italy to India which clearly shows that the company is quite gearing up for their launch here.

The MV Agusta Brutale 1090 looks killer and straight out of some sci-fi movie. The bike is so sexy that it is a sure shot way of attracting eyeballs everywhere. The bike is powered by a 1078cc engine which is a DOHC, 4-cylinder, 4-stroke, 16 valve unit. The engine produces 158 HP of power at 11,900 RPM and 100 Nm of torque at 10,100 RPM. The bike has a maximum speed of 265 km/hr. The bike weighs 183 kgs and has a fuel tank capacity of 23-litres.

MV Agusta will not launch all of its products in one go. The launches will happen in a phased manner and the entire line-up will be brought to India in the next three years. Most of the bikes will be brought down via the CBU route but some of them will also be brought down as Semi-Knocked-Down (SKD) units. The MV Agusta portfolio consists of the Brutale (675, 800, 800 Dragster, 1090), Rivale 800, Stradale 800, Turismo Veloce 800 and of course the F3 (675, 800) and F4.
