We saw two new contenders in the compact sedan space in 2015. Maruti launched the DZire facelift initially and in the second half of the year, Ford launched the Figo Aspire. The much awaited compact sedan from Ford has helped the automaker garner good volumes. Now 2016 has a few interesting compact sedans lined up for the Indian market. We’ll see Volkswagen’s first attempt in this segment developed specifically for India and Tata Motors’ second attempt with the Zica’s sedan version.
