The next generation TVS Wego has been spotted with camouflage, expected to launch in 2019.
The TVS Wego had launched back in 2010 and since then the company has not given any facelift or update. But it seems like TVS is now working on the next generation Wego for the coming year. The 2019 TVS Wego has spotted testing in camouflage.
As per the camouflaged images, the TVS Wego has no LED elements, new rear-view mirrors and semi-digital console. The new Wego is expected to get a bit more sporty exhaust note like on the TVS NTorq 125. The scooter has the same design lines as the current model and the same fuel filler cap positioned at the back of the pillion seat between the grab rail.
TVS is expected to launch the new Wego early next year. The company has just launched the new edition of their 110cc scooter, the Jupiter Grande. We expect the new Wego to be powered by the same 110cc motor which produces 7.8 BHP and 8 Nm of torque.
In terms of pricing, expect it to be priced lower than the current Wego which is priced at Rs. 53,413/- (ex-showroom, Mumbai). The TVS Wego has a strong rivalry from the Honda Activa which is now in its fifth generation with a lot of updates. The Activa is also the first scooter to cross the 2 crore sales milestone.
