The grey and white colour scheme looks very striking

In the past couple of months, Bajaj Auto’s paint department has put in some serious effort because on an average, every week a Pulsar gets a new colour. The first generation models got the Laser Edged colour treatment recently and now it’s the second generation models which are getting a colour update but not in India just yet, instead in Turkey.

Starting with the Pulsar RS 200 (since it’s on sale in India), the full faired motorcycle gets a new grey-black colour scheme which looks quite appealing. There are no other changes on the bike other than the white rim stripes. The Pulsar RS 200 continues with the same mechanicals and thus the 200cc, fuel-injected motor pumps out 24.5 PS and 18.6 Nm. This colour scheme could be introduced in India as early as next month.

The Pulsar 200 NS too gets a grey colour scheme which is dual-tone white and grey while the rim stripes are seen on this bike as well. The motorcycle also sports a ‘Fuel Injection’ badge below the tank. It also gets an underbelly engine cowl and the new decals instil some freshness in the street-fighter bike.

The 200cc fuel-injected engine is shared with the Pulsar RS 200 with similar output as mentioned above. The display bike was devoid of ABS but Bajaj is likely to offer a single-channel unit as an option on the Indian model. With the Pulsar 200 NS being brought back, the future of the Pulsar AS 200 looks uncertain. Should Bajaj keep both the 200 NS and 200 AS on sale or pull the plug on the pseudo adventure model?
