Land Rover has introduced the Range Rover Sport SV in India at a starting price of Rs. 2.05 crores (ex-showroom). Positioned below the previously announced SV Edition Two, this variant is priced lower by around Rs. 30 lakhs. The launch follows recent price revisions across the SV range ahead of the India–UK Free Trade Agreement rollout. Bookings for the SUV are now open, with customer deliveries expected to begin from August 2026.
For the Indian market, the Range Rover Sport SV is offered with a set of exclusive exterior finishes, including satin green, matte orange, gloss blue, matte violet and gloss teal. These are paired with a contrasting black roof and 22-inch forged alloy wheels, both of which are specific to this version.
Design elements include ‘SV’ badging, quad exhaust outlets and a pronounced rear spoiler. The SUV also gets darkened detailing across pillars, mirrors, grille and branding, along with black-finished air intakes and front splitter. Compared to the Edition Two variant, which features more extensive use of carbon fibre and larger 23-inch wheels, the standard SV takes a relatively restrained approach while retaining a distinct visual identity.
Inside, the SUV features perforated Windsor leather upholstery in a dual-tone Light Cloud and Ebony theme. A sliding panoramic sunroof is part of the standard equipment, along with an extended leather package. Other highlights include illuminated ‘SV’ branded door sills and a premium Meridian audio system. The Edition Two variant differentiates itself further with additional carbon-fibre trim elements.
Powering the Range Rover Sport SV is a 4.4-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with mild-hybrid technology. The setup produces 635 HP and 750 Nm of torque, with power sent to all four wheels via an automatic transmission. Land Rover claims a 0-100 km/hr acceleration time of 3.8 seconds.
A key technical highlight is the ‘6D Dynamics’ suspension system, which uses a hydraulically interconnected setup aimed at reducing pitch and body roll during driving, enhancing both stability and handling characteristics.
