The Ninja H2 gets customised parts from Adams to meet drag racing specifications

It would be an understatement to say that bike enthusiasts globally were amazed by the crazy powerful and tech laden Kawasaki Ninja H2. The best and fastest road-legal sports bike to come from the Japanese manufacturer, the Ninja H2 is every biker’s dream for now as buyers await deliveries to commence across the globe. However, what do you do if you are an 11 time drag racing champion and have also been instrumental in the development of the H2? Well convert it into a drag racer of course! And that is exactly what champion Rickey Gadson has accomplished with this one-off Ninja H2.

Rickey Gadson in collaboration with Kawasaki has created this highly customised, for the drag strip, supercharged Ninja H2. The sports bike has been specially designed in conjunction with Kawasaki Heavy Industries and Adams Performance to meet drag racing specifications. Rickey himself worked on a number of modifications to enhance the motorcycle’s drag racing capabilities which include an Adams extended swingarm also called as the ‘Strong Arm’; while there is a new JRI rear shock and a Brock’s Performance BST carbon fibre rear wheel to save weight.

Completing the list of changes, the drag spec Kawasaki Ninja H2 gets a handlebar-mounted air shifter that works in conjunction with the Kawasaki quick shifter. In terms of powertrain, the bike continues to employ the all-new 999cc in-line 4-cylinder engine from the stock offering. A true one-off, Rickey’s new Ninja H2 looks like a serious threat on the track. Make sure to keep the volume up and check out the sports bike in action at the drag strip in the video below.
