The second gen Honda Brio concept has been unveiled at the 2018 Indonesia International Motor Show.
Honda has showcased a new hatchback concept at the 2018 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS). Called the Small RS Concept, the vehicle previews the second-generation Honda Brio. The Small RS Concept seems to be quite close to the final production form and in that case, expect the next generation Brio to be unveiled in the coming months.
The front fascia of the Small RS Concept resembles the second gen Amaze as well as the Mobilio facelift introduced in Indonesia last year. The headlights and the grille feature a similar shape and the latter is finished in black and gets an ‘RS’ logo. The front bumper gets LED DRLs and is aggressively styled with a spoiler finished in black. At the sides, there are black finished door handles and alloy wheels. The all glass rear hatch has been replaced by a conventional boot lid. Dual exhaust tips, diffuser and a large spoiler complete the looks from the rear.
Back in India, the automaker unveiled the second gen Amaze compact sedan at the 2018 Auto Expo and is now gearing up to launch the same. While the Brio hatchback might not be a priority for Honda India, the car is still an essential model in the company’s line-up as its sales in all the markets combined is more than that of the Amaze.
