The SsangYong Rexton G4 (Mahindra Alturas G4) has received a facelift in South Korea with some cosmetic updates.

SsangYong has revealed the facelifted Rexton G4 in international markets with a host of cosmetic updates. The SUV’s facelifted model has been priced from KRW 3,43,90,000 (which is around Rs. 20.55 lakhs) to KRW 41,410,000 (Rs. 24.74 lakhs). The SUV is sold as the Mahindra Alturas G4 in India.

The new SsangYong Rexton G4 features a bigger redesigned chrome grille with a pseudo-3D effect, redesigned front and rear bumpers with silver skid plates at both ends and LED tail lamps.

This facelift also lists features like blind-spot monitoring system, lane departure warning and headlight toggling via the key fob as standard across the range.

Inside, the new Rexton G4 gets retractable sun-blinds for the rear windows and new colour scheme options for the cabin. Other than that, the interior layout including the instrument cluster, infotainment system and central console layout remains the same.

This body-on-frame SUV measures 4850 mm in length, 1960 mm in width and 1825 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2865 mm and a ground clearance of 225 mm.

The 2020 SsangYong Rexton G4 is powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine which produces 184.4 HP of power (up by 3% than the preceding model) and 421.69 Nm of peak torque. The powertrain is coupled to a 7-speed DCT as standard and also offers a 4WD option.
