SWM motorcycles will also offer a GT Kit which includes panniers by Givi and LED foglamps

Kinetic MotoRoyale introduced MV Agusta, an Italian superbike company to India sometime back and is now all set to bring in another lesser known Italian motorcycle brand, SWM Motorcycles.

SWM Motorcycles initially will focus on the 650cc middle-weight segment and will bring their Superdual series of motorcycles. The company will launch the Superdual T and the Superdual X by December 2017. Both the motorcycles will be powered by a 650cc single-cylinder engine that was originally developed for Husqvarna by BMW Motorrad.

Powering both the SuperDuals is a 650cc, single-cylinder, 4-stroke engine producing 57 HP. This engine comes coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. The motorcycles have a fuel tank capacity of 18-litres. Both the motorcycles come suspended via an adjustable fork upfront and a monoshock by Sachs at the rear. Braking duties are via a 300 mm disc up front and a 220 mm disc at the rear.

The more off-road centric SuperDual X gets a 21-inch front and an 18-inch rear wheel. The motorcycle will also come with different gearing ratios as compared to the SuperDual T. The SuperDual T gets 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel. While the SuperDual T sports Metzeler Tourance tyres, the SuperDual X gets off-road capable Metzeler Tourance Sahara tyres.

SWM’s motorcycles can be expected to sell between Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 6.5 lakhs and will be sold alongside MV Agusta motorcycles at MotoRoyale multi-brand outlets.
