Tata Bolt Dealer Spied
Dealers have started stocking the models ahead of the official launch

Expected to be the next big game changer for Tata Motors, the Bolt has been garnering positive reviews from the media and masses alike. Marking a turning point in Tata’s future, the Bolt has been a result of years of effort and hard work that will be undermining the automaker’s new set of products. With the launch confirmed for 22nd January, dealerships have now commenced stocking the new premium hatchback and cars were spotted recently at a dealer yard in Kerala.

Tata dealers have also started accepting bookings, while customers can also make their bookings online for Rs. 11,000/-. The company will also display the Bolt at malls and corporate parks across the country throughout the month, while we also expect dealerships to put the vehicle on display at showrooms soon. A replacement to the Vista hatch, the Bolt is based on a heavily revised Indica platform and shares its underpinnings with its booted sibling, the Zest. Compared to the latter, the hatch has been tuned as a sportier offering and gets all black interiors (dual-tone on the Zest) to match the sporty theme.

A quick recap on the specifications, the 2015 Tata Bolt draws power from the 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine producing 90 PS and 140 Nm of torque. Diesel duty on the other hand is performed by the 1.3-litre mill that produces 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque. Both the models are paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. In terms of features, the Bolt comes loaded with goodies with several segments firsts including the Harman infotainment system, Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone integration, voice recognition and much more.
