Tata Motors has unveiled the Buzzard at the Geneva Motor Show. The Buzzard is based on the OMEGA ARC platform which also forms the base for the Tata Harrier. The 7-seater SUV is the production version of the H7X. The Tata Buzzard is going to be launched in the Indian market towards the end of 2019.

In the looks department, the Tata Buzzard features a striking design which includes a large windscreen, LED daytime running lamps, a slim 3D Humanity grille, tri-arrow fog lamps and well defined wheel-arches. The interiors are also loaded with features just like the Harrier. The vehicle gets a freestanding touchscreen infotainment system which offers Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support.

The Tata Buzzard features the same 2.0-litre diesel engine as the Harrier but has a higher state of tune. The engine produces a maximum power of 170 BHP and 350 Nm of torque which is similar to the Jeep Compass. The transmission duties are found to be in form of a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic sourced from Hyundai. The Buzzard also gets multiple drive-modes and an all independent suspension.
