This is the first clear spotting of the Tata Harrier’s interiors.

Tata Harrier Interiors Spied
The interiors of the Tata Harrier look modern with a floating infotainment system

The Tata Harrier will be launched in India in early 2019. But till the time that happens, more spy shots of the compact SUV will keep coming. The latest ones are that of the Harrier’s interiors. This is the first time a clear picture of the interiors has been taken and they do look like a step up from the current Tata cars.

The interiors of the Harrier test mule have an all-black finish with silver accents on the door handles and around the infotainment system. The infotainment system looks bigger than what we find on the current Tata cars and is a standalone floating unit like we see in cars by Mercedes. The system nicely flows into the AC controls. Its design is symmetrical as the lower part is an upside down image of the infotainment system’s body.

The steering wheel looks chunky and there seems to be contours to hold the steering comfortably. There are, obviously, steering mounted controls for the infotainment system as well as calling. Voice controls too should be offered considering that the Tata Harrier will be a premium compact SUV from the company.

The quality and fit and finish of the Tata Harrier will be good as the company is now on a much different strategy. It is looking to capture the premium car market and wouldn’t want to miss out on the hype that the Harrier is getting. When it goes on sale, it will be competing with the Hyundai Creta, Jeep Compass and the likes.
