The new variant of the Tiago will come with cosmetic changes and upgraded interiors.
Tata has created many vehicles which were successful in the Indian market, and the Tiago is one of them. The best-selling car of Tata Motors, it was already loaded with features and now, due to customer demand on the rise, the company has decided to launch yet another fully-loaded variant of the Tiago.
After the Tigor’s update in the previous month, the Tiago XZ Plus will launch in India with an additional list of features. Details about the upcoming upgrades were leaked, and this is what was found.
The new upgraded variant will come with new 15-inch dual tone alloys, which are different from the 14-inch alloys offered till date. Projector headlamps with smoked black bezel, side body moulding, chrome accent on tail gate, an ORVM that electrically folds with welcome functions, a dual tone roof and new colour choices for customers are what we see from the outside.
Inside the car, we get a new 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto. The car can also notify you about upcoming messages and has Voice command access. The AC will be digitally controlled and the car is equipped with 4 speakers and 4 tweeters. The infotainment system also offers parking assist.
The new Tata Tiago XZ Plus will be offered in a range of colours which include Berry Red, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White, Titanium Grey, Ocean Blue, and Canyon Orange. All these colours except the Espresso Brown are available in dual tone colours as well.
The upcoming Tiago model will have the same dimensions as the previous model (3746 mm x 1647 mm x 1535 mm). The petrol engine of the hatchback can generate a power of 84 HP and peak torque of 114 Nm. The diesel engine can also dish out a maximum power of 70 PS and a peak torque of 140 Nm. Both engines are paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and AMT is available only for the petrol XTA/ XZA variants.
