Sales numbers of cars that we receive every month gets us very excited. Numbers for February 2016 have been quite interesting so let’s have a look. The top 4 spots are occupied by Maruti Suzuki just like always and while the Alto and DZire have seen a small dip in sales, the Swift and Wagon R have seen a good rise.

The next three positions are occupied by Hyundai. The Elite i20 sees a decent rise in numbers and it has also managed to overtake the Baleno by a very significant amount. The Grand i10 on the other hand sees a small fall in numbers but it is still doing well for itself. The Creta sees a very good rise in demand and it is showing in the numbers.

The Renault Kwid is doing healthy numbers while outdated cars like the Mahindra Bolero and Maruti Omni are also brining in good sales. The Maruti Ertiga is maintaining consistent figures and the recent facelift has helped the MUV maintain its demand in the market. The Maruti Eeco which is another spartan product is also bringing in decent numbers and most of the sales come from the commercial market.

The Hyundai Eon is doing good considering it has been around since a long time now. The Maruti Ciaz is leading the C-segment now and is far ahead of the Honda City, whose sales have been falling of late. The Maruti Celerio also sees a major fall in numbers while the Toyota Innova has seen a good hike last month. The Mahindra KUV100 is proving to be a decent performer and the Hyundai Xcent is performing well in the hot compact sedan segment.
