MUV Sales September 2020
Some have had a good time, while others found it hard to fetch sales last month

Like in the month of August, UV sales in September 2020 has seen a steady overall growth, registering over 38,600 unit sales as opposed to over 34,000 units the year before.

On top of the pile sits the Maruti Eeco having sold 11,220 times over. The vehicle that has been consistently doing well saw a sales growth of 13 percent in September.

Maruti’s Ertiga has been relegated to second place, but it too sold well, as close to 10,000 units of the vehicle got sold during the month under observation, with a very strong growth rate.

The Bolero from Mahindra came third with 5797 units, while the Triber from Renault and Innova Crysta from Toyota completed the top five, both selling in the 4000 units range.

At the bottom half of the list sit Maruti Suzuki XL6 (2087 units) and Mahindra Marazzo with 936 units, followed by Kia Carnival with 331 units. Last two spots are occupied by the Datsun GO+ and Toyota Vellfire, witnessing 55 units and 14 unit sales, respectively.

Vellfire aside, the MUV with realistic growth in the September 2020 UV sales list is the Ertiga with 59 percent growth. The Bolero came next with 39 percent hike in sales.
