Toyota’s re-badged Baleno hatchback, the Glanza has its interiors revealed ahead of June 6 launch.

Toyota Glanza Instrument Cluster
Toyota will offer the Glanza in G and V variants, based on Maruti’s Zeta and Alpha models respectively

Not only the car is strikingly similar to the Baleno in terms of the exterior but the interiors are also quite the same. The Toyota Glanza is spotted with identical dashboard, instrument panel, air-con vents and infotainment system as we see on the Maruti Baleno. It’s not a shocker that the only difference we see in the interiors is the Toyota-badged steering wheel.

The Glanza’s front fascia is distinguished by the unique radiator grille with two horizontal chrome slits and the company’s logo in the middle. This will be the first car that will come out of the Toyota-Suzuki agreement. The car is kept almost identical to the Maruti Baleno in order to keep the production costs in check. The car will also be available in two trims, that are G and V.

The Glanza will most probably be powered by the 1.2-litre DualJet engine with Smart Hybrid that is BS6 compliant. The transmission will also likely be offered both in manual and CVT (automatic) as well. Maruti has already dispatched 364 units of the Glanza to Toyota Kirloskar Motor.
