The Toyota Vellfire has been showcased at a closed event in India and the vehicle’s brochure has been leaked.
In many overseas markets, the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire are popular cars known specially for their comfort and space along with the blingy design of course. Now, the Japanese automaker has showcased the Vellfire in India at what looks like a private event and along with that, the brochure of the vehicle has also been leaked.
In terms of styling, the Toyota Vellfire does look very bold with all of its striking elements. The vehicle gets split headlamps with LED DRLs, triangular fog lamp housings and dollops of chrome. The car is large in size and this one looks exactly like the model which is sold in South Asian countries.
The vehicle comes with black interiors and there is abundant space inside the cabin. It gets equipment like a touchscreen infotainment system, 7 airbags, leather upholstery, multi-function steering and a twin pod instrument cluster. It also gets creature comforts like personal spot lights, automatic climate control, individual seat tables, ambient lighting, twin moonroof, sunshades, powered doors and ventilated/heated seats.
As per the brochure, the Toyota Vellfire has a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid engine with an e-CVT and E-Four 4WD system. The Vellfire is likely to be launched as a CBU and it will cater to a niche audience. Toyota has a lot of fan following in India for the Innova and many high profile customers of the MPV will get a good upgrade now.
