Vespa has updated the Notte 125 scooter, their entry level offering.

Vespa Notte 125
It is the most affordable scooter in the Vespa India lineup

The BS6 transition is still on as companies continue to update their portfolio. Most of the products are getting price hikes with this update. Vespa Notte 125 BS6 has just launched with a substantial hike in pricing.

The Italian premium scooter maker has introduced the BS6 version with a price tag of Rs. 91,864/- (ex-showroom). It is their most affordable offering in India.

However, the price has increased by a whopping Rs. 17,000/- compared to the BS4 model. This price hike is not justified. That’s because the Notte 125 doesn’t come with any new changes.

Apart from the addition of fuel injection technology, this scooter gets no visual updates. There are no features added too. Yet, Vespa India has given it a substantial price hike.

This price is almost at par with the Vespa Urban Club 125. The Notte is powered by the same 125cc single-cylinder engine. It churns out 9.92 PS at 7500 RPM and 9.6 Nm at 5500 RPM.

It’ll be interesting to see the sales of this scooter. With the ongoing crisis and sales crashed, we don’t expect many takers of such premium scooters.

The Notte 125 competes with the likes of Suzuki Burgman Street 125, Honda Activa 125 and Aprilia SR 125. The upcoming SXR 125 maxi-scooter might give it some sleepless nights since it’ll be a much better VFM premium product.

The Italian scooter maker recently introduced VXL and SXL 149 with BS6 compliance.
