Volvo has launched a petrol engine for the first time with XC40 in India.

Volvo launched their entry level SUV XC40 in 2018 in India only with a diesel engine option. Now the Swedish carmaker has introduced a petrol powered XC40 in India. The Volvo XC40 T4 is available in R-Design trim and is priced at Rs. 39.90 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The XC40 T4 comes with a BS6 compliant 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 190 HP and 300 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 8-speed automatic transmission. It has a front-wheel drive layout.

Some of the features include Panoramic Sunroof, Wireless Charging for smart phones, Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, 2 zone climate control, 12.3-inch instrument cluster, 9 inch touch screen, Distance alert, Rear and front park assist, Power tail gate, etc.

It is available in Crystal White Pearl, Bursting Blue, Glacier Silver, Onyx Black, Thunder Grey and Fusion Red colour options.
