2017 Yamaha Fazer 250 Spied On Test
The Fazer 250 will be powered by the same 249cc 20.9 HP engine from the FZ25

This isn’t the first time the Yamaha Fazer 250 has been spotted on test. Yamaha has been repeatedly doing test runs of the Fazer 250 and the motorcycle has been spotted again without any camouflage.

The Yamaha Fazer 250 will get the same 249cc engine from the FZ25, capable of producing 20.9 HP and 20 Nm of torque. This powerplant will come mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike will feature a 282 mm front disc and a 220 mm rear disc. Yamaha is likely to offer ABS, at least as an option. The motorcycle will come suspended via 41 mm standard telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload.

However, the distinguishing factor between the Fazer 250 and the FZ25 will be the full-fairing on the former. This full-fairing will aid in better aerodynamics. The motorbike comes with a visor that will help cut down unnecessary wind blast.

Yamaha India has not yet announced any launch date for the Fazer 250 but expect this tourer motorcycle to be launched in India by October 2017. The R15 maker might price the Fazer 250 at a premium of Rs. 20,000 to 25,000/- over the FZ25.
