A YouTube channel has done a walkaround video of the 2017 Yamaha Fazer 250 well ahead of its launch. The last time the Fazer 250 was spotted, it was completely uncamouflaged and we all got to see how the bike exactly looks. Wierd right?

The video shows the 2017 Fazer 250 in a dual-tone Blue and Black paint scheme. The Fazer 250 is based on the FZ25 and one look at the motorcycle and it’s evident that almost every part on the Fazer 250 is a lift from the FZ25 except for the fairing. Talking of which we personally feel could have looked something else, at least like the Fazer 150.

Powering the Fazer 250 is the same engine that powers the FZ25 as well, a 250cc single-cylinder, air and oil-cooled, 2-valve mill that produces 21 HP of power and 20 Nm of torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The suspension is similar to the FZ25, standard telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is via a 282 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear.

While ABS was expected, seems Yamaha isn’t offering it on the Fazer 250. This quater-litre full-faired Yamaha is expected to be launched very soon and will come with a premium of Rs. 10-15,000/- over its street-fighter sibling.
