Yamaha India has introduced a new colour option – Matt Green, on the Saluto 125 commuter motorcycle in the country, the new colour variant of the bike will be available in both variants of the bike.

Japanese motorcycle maker, Yamaha has introduced a new colour variant – Matt Green, on the Saluto 125 commuter motorcycle in the country. The new colour makes the bike look very zippy and attractive, making it distinct from the other motorcycles in the commuter class. The new colour option is being offered on both the drum and the disc brake versions of the bike. The drum brake version costs Rs. 53,600/- (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the disc brake version is priced at Rs. 56,100/- (ex-showroom Delhi).

The Matt Green paint on the Yamaha Saluto 125 was showcased at this year’s Auto Expo and the colour has been used by Yamaha on its previous models like the Ray-ZR and the FZ-S FI V2.0. The Saluto 125cc is a complete economical and practical Indian family motorcycle, the bike achieves good fuel economy and has been designed practically taking care of varied customer demands.

Talking about features, the Yamaha Saluto 125 Matt Green edition comes with the same motor which is a 125cc single -cylinder, air cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine which produces 8.2 HP of power at 7000 RPM and 10.1 Nm of torque available at 4500 RPM. The engine also comes with Yamaha’s BlueCore technology making the bike lightest in its class at 113 kgs, which helps the motorcycle to achieve a mileage of 78 km/l. The Matt Green edition will be available across all authorised Yamaha dealers in the country starting next week.
