According to Autoincar, the Nissan Micra’s HR12DE 1198cc engine will feature 3 cylinders producing 74hp of power and 104NM of torque. But what is really worth mentioning is the fact that this powerplant will deliver an outstanding mileage of 26kmpl. We can’t wait to do the mileage test on this one.

Nissan has decided to shift the entire production of the Micra, from the UK to India. After production of the Micra commences here, Nissan plans to manufacture four more models in the country investing over Rs. 2,000 crore. The Micra will be manufactured at Nissan’s upcoming factory at Oragadam, near Chennai.

Japanese auto major Nissan Motor Co will make next generation March model at its Orgadam plant built in partnership with French car maker Renault. The joint venture company Renault Nissan Automotive India Ltd (RNAI) is investing around Rs.40 billion ($833 million) in the plant, which has a total capacity of 400,000 units.
