No units of the Suzuki Intruder and Yamaha MT-15 were sold last month

In February 2022, 150cc bike sales went down by 38 percent year-on-year

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 topped the 150cc bike sales chart for February 2022 by registering sales of 17,804 units. The Apache RTR series was relegated to second spot last month.

TVS retailed just over 16,400 units of the popular commuter bike range, while the Indian firm’s Japanese counterpart Yamaha sold 13,395 units of its 150cc FZ models.

Another bikemaker from the land of the rising sun, Honda, shifted 12,812 units of its well-aged Unicorn and it was followed by the Yamaha R15 which registered sales of 6405 units.

Hero MotoCorp’s Xtreme was next with 3593 unit sales, followed by the Suzuki Gixxer, 1815 units of which got sold last month.

The Honda Hornet 2.0 and CB200X found 960 new homes combined, while the Bajaj Avenger 160 Street (879 units) and the Honda X-Blade (150 units) completed the list.

Sadly, 9 out of the 10 motorcycles featuring in the February 2022 150cc bike sales chart recorded year-on-year (YoY) sales degrowth. Also, the 2-wheelers registered sales of 74,219 units combined, which is a 38 percent reduction in sales when compared to the year-ago period.
