2018 Honda Jazz Price Starts At Rs. 7.35 Lakhs, Launched In India

Honda has launched the updated Jazz which comes with added features.

The 2018 Honda Jazz has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 7.35 lakhs and goes all the way up to Rs. 9.29 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom). Honda has given the variant naming a bit of a re-jig and the Jazz now comes only in three variants- S, V and VX.

The 2018 Honda Jazz comes with no mechanical changes, minimal exterior changes and maximum interior changes. On the exterior front, there are two new colour options, chromed out door handles and a new rear LED wing light. While the base variant gets only the new colour options, the middle variant V gets additional chrome handles and the top-end variant V further gets the new rear LED wing light.

On the inside, the Jazz S variant comes with a four-speaker audio system with a 3.5-inch screen, steering-mounted audio controls, driver’s seat height adjust, a front-centre armrest, power-adjustable wing mirrors, driver and co-driver vanity mirrors, rear parking sensors and a rear defogger. The mid-spec V trim in addition gets keyless entry and go, automatic climate control, steering-mounted telephone controls, a 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that doubles as a reverse camera display and premium beige interiors. The top-spec VX variant gets a larger 7.0-inch touchscreen system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, electrically adjustable and folding wing mirrors with integrated indicators, and leather on the steering wheel and gear knob.

Safety features like the dual front airbags and ABS with EBD come as standard. The car will continue to be powered by the 90 HP, 1.2-litre petrol engine that comes with a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox option. The 100 HP, 1.5-litre diesel motor comes paired to a 6-speed manual transmission only. Cruise control is available on the diesel and the petrol-CVT models, while paddle shifters are offered on the petrol-CVT combination.
