The next generation Hyundai Creta has made its India debut at the 2020 Auto Expo.

The Hyundai Creta was launched in India in 2015 and it got a facelift in 2018. The new generation Creta is due for an India launch and now Hyundai has showcased the compact SUV at the ongoing 2020 Auto Expo.

The new-gen Hyundai Creta has already been launched in the Chinese market. The vehicle, as seen in the images, gets drastic changes to the exterior. It features a completely new design altogether. The styling is subjective and might draw mixed opinions from customers but it does look quite bold and flashy.

Hyundai hasn’t revealed the interior of the vehicle yet but will do so in the coming few days. The China-spec Hyundai Creta gets an all-new cabin layout with a huge touchscreen reminiscent of Tesla. It also gets a new steering wheel and newly designed seats. It remains to be seen whether the India-spec car gets similar interiors or something different. Expect the Creta to be loaded with a lot of equipment and Hyundai’s BlueLink connected car technology as well.

The 2020 Hyundai Creta will get new BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engines which are already available with the Kia Seltos. The vehicle will get 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines with both MT and AT options. The 2020 Hyundai Creta will be launched in March 2020 and it will rival the Renault Duster, Nissan Kicks, and its own cousin the Kia Seltos.
