2021 Toyota Fortuner Aftermarket Alloys
Bigger wheels do fit well under those massive arches

The 2021 Toyota Fortuner has been given some shiny 12-spoke aftermarket alloys which suit the premium SUV rather well.

Toyota only recently launched the Fortuner facelift and Legender variants in India and prices for the car begin from Rs. 29.98 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Sporting a new front fascia with an enlarged radiator grille, sleek lighting units, a revised bumper and a set of new rims, the SUV also comes with plentiful features now.

In its Legender version, the premium SUV looks a bit more sharper and is offered with more equipment inside along with 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

Now, it must be noted that the regular Fortuner can be had with either a set of 17-inch wheels or 18-inch wheels, while the Legender only comes shod with 18-inch rims.

Here is where the 2021 Toyota Fortuner aftermarket alloys beats them, for it measures 22 inches in diameter and comes shod with a 305-section tyre, which eclipses the 265-section rubber the car comes with from factory.

Not only do the aftermarket wheels add some shine, but they fill the arches better too. Also, they will affect the way the vehicle rides and it is not known if any changes were made to the suspension to counter it.

We reached out to the ones who fitted the 22-inch alloys onto the Fortuner to know about the weight disadvantage (if any) that comes along with their fitment. But, a response could not be elicited at the time this article was written.
