Audi has opened bookings for 2022 Q5 a week after it began assembling the model here
Audi India has opened bookings for the 2022 Q5 luxury SUV, today. The booking amount for the car is Rs. 2 lakhs.
To be offered in 2 variants – Premium Plus and Technology – the refreshed Q5 features a new single frame radiator grille, revised lights, and new bumpers.
Sporting 19-inch 5 double-spoke star-style alloy wheels, the facelifted Q5 also has a mildly revised interior for model year 2022 with inlays in Piano Black.
Apart from having large digital displays for both the instrument cluster and the infotainment system, the 2022 Audi Q5 also comes with features such as Audi Smartphone Interface, Audi Phone box with wireless charging and MMI Navigation Plus.
The car will also have Park Assist, comfort key with sensor controlled boot lid operation and a Bang & Olufsen Premium 3D Sound System, among other goodies.
Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor making 245 BHP and 370 Nm of torque. The engine’s power is transferred via a 7-speed DCT to the quattro all-wheel drive system.
In addition, there will be Audi drive select, while the suspension with damping control should be able to handle India’s roads effectively. Of course, Audi will equip the car with a whole host of safety tech, including as many as 8 airbags.
With the 2022 Audi Q5 bookings having commenced, the official introduction of the car should take place soon enough.
