Audi had first introduced the baby A3 at the 2014 Auto Expo and is now completing its 5th anniversary in India.
The German manufacturer has now revised the pricing of the A3 to celebrate its 5th anniversary in India. Prices of the Audi A3 have been reduced and the car now starts from Rs. 28.99 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 31.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, India).
The A3 comes with the big signature Audi grille up front which is flanked by sharp LED headlamps, which also get optional dynamic turn indicators. The car comes with sharp shoulder lines and revised tail lamps that add to the sleek looks of the car. The German sedan sits on 16-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the car is fitted with a 7-inch infotainment system, Audi Phone Box, Audi Parking System Plus, panoramic sunroof and dual-zone climate control. Audi offers an S Line package with the A3 that accentuates the beauty of the car with additional front and rear bumpers and side skirts, S line radiator grille, S line rear diffuser, chrome finished tailpipes, illuminated door sill trims with S logo and S line badge on the front fenders.
Four variants are on offer with the A3 that includes 35 TFSI Premium Plus, 35 TFSI Technology, 35 TDI Premium Plus, and 35 TDI Technology. The petrol variants of the vehicle are powered by a 1.4-litre TFSI unit that churns out 150 BHP and 250 Nm of torque, whereas the diesel variants are powered by a 2.0-litre TDI unit that puts out 143 BHP and 320 Nm of torque. While the petrol engine is mated to a 7-speed S-Tronic gearbox, the diesel engine is paired with a 6-speed S-Tronic transmission.
