Audi India has recently inaugurated its Technical Service Centre in Mumbai, which is the company’s 7th such centre in the Asia Pacific region and the first in India. This comes as a big step in the Indian subcontinent by the German luxury car maker as they look to make a big statement by improving their after sales service by a significant level. Audi AG, Head of Technical Service (Entire Vehicle), Ulli Seyfferth at the inauguration said that this service centre will help them deeply understand usage patterns of their cars and also the preferences of Indian luxury car buyers.

Seeing the introduction of such a facility comes as good news for our country and it shows that Audi is taking the Indian market very seriously, aiming to become the number one luxury car brand in India as rivals Mercedes pose a huge threat to them. Along with being able to tailor their products specifically for India, the service centre will further help its customers by providing them quality after sales services, thereby enriching their ownership experience as well.

The facility in Mumbai is located in Andheri and it will feature a workshop as well as training facilities that are in line with Audi’s global standards. The area has seperate bays that are individually climate controlled and feature state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment for in depth analysis. A training facility is also present for conducting boot camps for the technical team as well as the dealer network. Audi states that customer delight has been their focus and a customer centric strategy has been instrumental in their success in India. The Audi technical service centre is a step in that direction to make their existing and new customers comfortable with the brand. The company has products such as the S5 sportback, TT and the A6 facelift also lined up for a launch this year.
