BMW X5 xDrive 30d M Sport price is costlier than the previous diesel top-end xLine variant by Rs. 3 lakhs
BMW has silently introduced a new variant for the X5 xDrive 30d (diesel automatic) named M Sport for a price tag of Rs. 97.9 lakhs (ex-showroom). It’s currently the diesel top-end variant of the X5 and costlier than the now-discontinued diesel top-end xLine variant by Rs. 3 lakhs.
As it’s from the same xDrive 30d trim, power comes from the 3-litre 6-cylinder diesel engine that churns out 261 HP and 620 Nm, mated to the xDrive all-wheel drive 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV can hit the ton in 6.5 seconds.
The luxury SUV gets M Sport specific package that includes M-spec front apron, side skirts, wheel arch trims in body colour, Blue coloured brake calipers, rear diffuser, car key, logo on the side profile, new tail pipes, and 20-inch M-spec alloy wheels.
Leaving the other 2 petrol variants, the new M Sport sits above the X5 xDrive30d SportX Plus variant that retails from Rs. 81.5 lakhs (ex-showroom). Over this variant, the M Sport additionally gets paddle shifters, launch control, and adaptive 2-axle air suspension.
Other additions include electric tailgate, BMW Laserlight LED headlamps, comfort seats for the front passengers, M-spec leather steering wheel, head-up display, 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, 360-degree camera, new interior trims, and leather upholstery.
Standard electronics include a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, gesture control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless phone charging, auto start-stop, 6 airbags, extended Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Hill Start Assist, Hill Descent Control, etc.
