Hero has updated the Maestro Edge with a bigger 125cc engine that gets FI technology.

Hero MotoCorp entered the 125cc scooter segment with the launch of Destini 125 and now they have introduced the more powerful engine with the Maestro Edge. The Maestro Edge 125 is one of the first scooters in India with FI technology. The scooter is being offered with both carb and FI variants. It is priced from Rs. 58,500/- (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 124.6cc, air cooled, fuel injected engine produces 9.1 BHP at 7000 RPM and 10.2 Nm of torque at 5000 RPM. 0-60 km/hr comes up in 8.4 seconds. The carb version produces 8.7 BHP at 6750 RPM and 10.2 Nm at 5000 RPM. They claim 0-60 km/hr acceleration time of 8.8 seconds for the carb engine.

Hero has given the Maestro Edge 125 some visual updates including LED signature lights, diamond cut wheels, textured seats, sharp front cover and apron, LED tail lamps, etc. Some of the features of the new Maestro Edge 125 include external fuel filling, mobile charging port, boot lamp, remote key opening, side stand indicator, service due reminder and digital-analogue meter.

The Maestro Edge 125 FI is available in two colour combinations – Pearl White with Brown inner panel and Panther Black with Red inner panel. The i3S carb version is available with matte colour options including blue, red, brown and Vernier Grey.
