Honda To Reduce Prices Of Cars Amid GST Reforms, 2nd Generation Amaze Gets A Price Reduction Of Up To Rs. 95,500

Honda has announced it will pass on the full benefits of the GST Reforms 2025 to customers from September 22, 2025. Bookings are already open, and deliveries with revised prices are expected during the festive period. Buyers can also combine post-GST pricing with ongoing festive offers at authorised Honda dealerships.

Honda stated that early bookings will help customers secure deliveries during auspicious dates in the festive season. Dealers will soon publish variant-wise on-road prices reflecting the reductions. As of present, the brand has released estimated model-wise price drops across its current portfolio.

Pricing Changes

The third-generation Honda Amaze receives the highest reduction, with prices falling by up to Rs. 95,500 compared to current ex-showroom rates. The second-generation Amaze, still available in India, gets a maximum reduction of Rs. 72,800. These cuts make the compact sedan more appealing during the festive period.

The Honda City sedan will see a price cut of up to Rs. 57,500, against its existing Rs. 12.38 to Rs. 19.90 lakh range. Honda’s Elevate SUV, currently priced from Rs. 11.91 lakh to Rs. 16.73 lakh, will be cheaper by up to Rs. 58,400. Variant-level post-GST prices will be confirmed by authorised dealerships once reforms take effect.
