Range Rover Evoque Road Test

Jaguar is planning a big transition for its brand. For the coming future, Jaguar has planned new products for its portfolio with aggressive pricing, in order to take on its German rivals. Jaguar is considering building a local factory in Brazil, which will help the automaker in significant future growth. If the new factory in talks gets a green signal from the Brazilian government, the automaker plans to produce an all-new crossover from the new facility, which will be positioned below the XF sedan.

The new Jaguar crossover is likely to be based on the Range Rover Evoque platform. The automaker wants to explore the new crossover segment with its entry level offering. Jaguar is planning a major overhaul in the brand, which will be evident in the coming five years. We expect Jaguar to share technologies for the new crossover with its Land Rover department. Positioning the crossover below the XF sedan means attractive pricing. The company revealed very limited details about its upcoming crossover.

A new entry level offering from Land Rover is also being planned for production in the upcoming Brazilian facility of Jaguar. The baby Land Rover will be positioned below the Freelander and will have an attractive price tag to boost volumes for the British automaker.
