Kawasaki has revealed a few details of their upcoming all-electric bike in their latest video. The camouflaged electric motorcycle looks inspired by the Kawasaki Ninja series of motorcycles.

The Japanese bike maker is working on this electric bike technology since early 2000. Kawasaki says that the electric bike will be exciting to ride and fun to control with reflection of Kawasaki’s passion.

The Kawasaki electric motorcycle is being developed according to their RIDEOLOGY development philosophy. In the video we can notice the ride changing gears using the conventional lever, which means the new electric bike will offer IC engine inspired 4-speed gearbox-like control over power delivery.

The Japanese bike maker is studying and patenting features, packaging, chassis geometry, etc. The bike will come with transmission and thumb-brake activated energy recovery system.

It has a sizeable LCD all-digital instrument cluster that displays an array of information of the bike. The bike is seen with conventional front forks and monoshock rear suspension along with disc brakes. More specifications will be revealed closure to the launch.
