The front of the vehicle might look overdone with so many accessories fitted

Amidst a lot of gusto, Mahindra finally launched the KUV100 in the domestic market a couple of days back. The vehicle created a lot of hype and hoopla because it was a highly anticipated product from the automaker. Just like other vehicles from the company which are offered with an exhaustive list of optional accessories, the Mahindra KUV100 is no different and even it comes with lots of different accessories to spruce up the exteriors as well as the interiors.

For the exteriors, Mahindra offers the following accessories –

  • Wheel arches
  • Bonnet scoop
  • Side skirts
  • Door mouldings
  • Rear Spoiler
  • Tail lamp protectors
  • Rear bumper add-on
  • Variety of body decals (blackened roof)
  • Chrome trims for front door handles, bumpers, fog lamps and grille
  • Sill protectors and scuff plates
  • Rain Visor
  • Different types of bumper guards and carriers

The interiors of the vehicle can be customized too, with the following accessories being offered –

  • Audio system with rear seat entertainment
  • Car inverter
  • Rear view camera
  • Heads Up Display
  • Sun blinds
  • Front Parking Assist
  • DRL Fog lamps
  • Car cooler
  • Neck massager
  • Seat covers and floor mats
  • Children’s seats

With so many accessories on offer, buyers can customise their vehicles according to their personal tastes and choices and make their cars look exclusive on the road. The accessories can be fitted at all Mahindra authorised showrooms and service centres. The KUV100 is powered by 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, petrol and diesel engines available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The vehicle carries sporty styling and looks like a very butch hatchback.

The Mahindra KUV100 competes with the likes of the Maruti Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 and Tata Bolt. The Swift and Grand i10 are some really tough rivals because they are well-established players in the market and they are hard to crack. The KUV is priced from Rs. 4.45-6.84 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and looking at the initial hype the car is getting, we predict it to be a massive hit in tier-2 and tier-3 cities across the country.
