Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its premium MPV, the XL6 on 21st August 2019. The XL6 is based on the Ertiga MPV and gets additional features and equipment. After many snippets which came up about the Maruti XL6, details about its dimensions have surfaced as well. Though the Maruti XL6 is larger than the Ertiga, the wheelbase remains exactly the same.

As per the dimensions revealed, the Maruti XL6 will have a length of 4445 mm, width of 1775 mm while the height will be 1700 mm. This makes the XL6 50 mm longer, 40 mm wider and 10 mm taller than the Ertiga. However, the wheelbase of both cars remains the same at 2740 mm, along with a similar turning radius of 5.2-metres.

The Maruti Suzuki XL6 is a 6-seater MPV and will be sold via the brand’s premium Nexa dealerships. The XL6 will be powered by a BS6-compliant version of the K15B Smart Hybrid 1.5-litre petrol engine which produces 105 PS and 138 Nm of torque. This engine will be mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
