The larger CMF-B architecture which was also evaluated for India, has now been ruled out. Renault Nissan India products to use only 2 platforms.

Nissan Kicks Front
The upcoming Nissan Kicks crossover will be underpinning the M0 platform

Renault & Nissan’s products for India will use only 2 platforms. These 2 relatively low-cost platforms that will be underpinning Renault and Nissan’s future small and mid-size car ranges are the CMF-A & CMF-A+ and M0 platforms.

The CMF-A platform already underpins the Renault Kwid and the Datsun redi-GO, while products with the CMF-A+ are yet to roll out from both Renault and Nissan. Both these manufacturers also have the M0 platform that underpins the Duster, Terrano and Lodgy. The upcoming Renault Captur and Nissan Kicks too will be based on the same M0 platform.

The Renault-Nissan alliance had also tested the larger CMF-B platform in India, but it has been rejected due to it being relatively more expensive than the M0 platform. Datsun, on the other hand will continue to make its cars with the V minus platform. The upcoming GO Cross will also be based on the same V minus platform.
