RE has a new range of bikes in the pipeline for the near future. In a bid to expand their portfolio in new segments, RE is preparing to launch their third 650cc motorcycle and it’s likely to be a scrambler.

With the growing trend of scrambler bikes recently in premium as well as mass market segments, RE is planning to grab a pie of the new market trend. The new bike will be based on their 650cc platform.

They already have a retro classic Interceptor 650 and cafe racer Continental GT 650 in their range-topping lineup. The Scrambler 650 will add to the high-end portfolio of the bike maker.

It is expected to come with modern equipment and styling to attract the young audience. It will get a fresh appeal to the 650cc lineup since the other two bikes were launched 2 years back.

The new Royal Enfield 650cc scrambler is expected to hit the showrooms by 2021. Considering the pricing of the other two Royal Enfield 650cc bikes, the new scrambler is likely to be more affordable than the competition, which is largely in the premium space.

This will be one of the four products that Royal Enfield is expected to launch by 2021. For now, they are preparing to introduce the Meteor 350, the Thunderbird replacement.

The RE Meteor 350 will get visual changes over the Thunderbird along with new features on offer.
