Classic 350 Redditch Red
The Redditch edition of the Classic 350 was launched in India in December 2016

Royal Enfield has introduced a rear disc brake for the Classic 350 Redditch motorcycles. The rear disc brake is a 240 mm unit with a single-pot caliper. The new variant has been priced at Rs. 1.47 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai) which is Rs. 8155/- more than the standard variant. The bike gets no other cosmetic or mechanical changes. There are still no signs of the company offering ABS on any of its existing models in India.

Powering the Classic 350 Redditch is a 346cc, single-pot, air-cooled motor that produces 19.8 BHP of power at 5250 RPM and 28 Nm of torque at 4000 RPM. Known for its superb low-end torque, the 4-stroke engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The Redditch edition is available in three colour options – Red, Green and Blue.

The Redditch series bikes were introduced in December 2016. They come with paint jobs that are inspired from the bikes of the 1950s era which were produced in Redditch town in the United Kingdom. Until now, the rear disc brake feature was available only in the Gunmetal Grey colour in the Classic 350 lineup. Interestingly, the Classic 350 is the manufacturer’s best-selling model in India.
